The nursery is a highly regarded and friendly early years education provider, who are looking for a dedicated Nursery Practioner to join their supportive team and make a difference

They are looking for a dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join our supportive team and make a difference in the lives on children, especially those under 2 years of age.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality care and education to children, with a particular focus on babies and toddlers (under 2’s).
  • Plan and deliver age-appropriate learning activities, following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Ensure the safeguarding of children by adhering to Ofsted standards and the nursery’s child protection policies.
  • Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and your fellow practitioners.
  • Monitor and record children's development, keeping parents informed and involved in their child's progress.
  • Work collaboratively with room leaders and nursery management to maintain a safe, stimulating, and engaging environment for all children.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Essential Qualifications and Experience:
  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education (or equivalent).
  • At least 2 years’ experience working in an early years setting, particularly with babies and young children.
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding procedures and Ofsted regulations.
  • Ability to work as part of a team, with excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic.
